HEAT PACKS FOR SHIPPING??? When & Where??

Looks like I'll be shipping some turtle/tortoise youngsters in the next few weeks and just not sure about when or how to use heat packs or where to get them. (no these are not redfoot hatchlings)

Any help on this ASAP.. will be most appreciated!

The best source for not only the heat packs that are meant for reptiles but also the insulated boxes is LLL Reptile who I have ordered from many times. I would recccomend them.

I also recommend LLLReptile for shipping supplies. As far as when to use them, I would recommend using one if the temperature is going to be 50 or below anywhere in the tortoise's route. You can use two if needed. Make sure that the heat pack is below the insulated carton, so it doesn't use up the tortoise's air. Here are some good shipping links:
