johnriz Oct 16, 2004 04:22 PM

I recently noticed my male boa soaking alot. after checking his water i noticed he had a bunch of dead mites in the water. I need to know what to do now. i also had him in with my female for breeding and she has them also. She is most likely gravid right now so i need something i can use on both of them. should i treat my other snakes also? I have no idea how they got them. Please respond asap. thanks

Go to www.pro-products.com and order a can of Proventamite ASAP. It'll take care of it. Follow the simple directions on all your reptile cages.

is it ok to use on gravid females?

You don't use it on the animal just the enclosure, be sure to read and follow directions exactly. Once dry and allowed to air out it is safe.

Hope this helps.
