Don't your snakes get nervous while they are feeding and you are holding them?

When I feed my stuff I quietly tip-toe out of the room so that I don't cause them to spit it out. Has that ever happened while holding some of them? Do you have to hold still or do you move around a lot and they still finish their meal? Are there some snakes that eat in the hand than others? If so which ones are the least likely to spit out a mael while holding them?

I have several snakes that absolutly want no part of eating in the hand. I have some that I also have to tip toe out of the room for them to eat. I even have some that won't eat unless they are in pitch black darkness, lol. Of the getula group cali's are the worse, I do have a few exceptions though. Of ratsnake group corns co-operate better than obsoletas, again there are exceptions. I have found that older snakes are much more difficult than hatchlings that are hungry all the time. Any snakes of mine that don't want to eat in my hand, eat in a feeding tub instead. Besides I have 75 snakes and no way I could feed em all in my hand! John
