Dealing with dry ice.......

i know you need to wear gloves, but what kind of gloves? will like polyester gardening gloves work or will i need heavier glvoes?

you need insulated gloves to keep from feeling the 'burn' of the the dry ice. Ask the place where you get the dry ice what sort of gloves you should wear. I really don't think the gardening gloves would be of much use. Maybe oven mits but I wouldn't go by that. Check with the place you buy the dried ice from

it is the dry ice used in packing the rodents from rodent pro. would like fireplace gloves work?

Use tongs instead. I don't know if fireplace gloves will stick to the dried ice or prevent the intense cold from damaging your fingers.
