Hey I have read your post here for a while. I saw some of the opals you produced. They where awesome. Are they strait opals or coral/hypo opals? I just prodused coral/hypo opal hets this year and expected the eventual offspring to look like the opals that you where selling. I'm sorry I missed your table the show was rocking and I couldn't leave my own table for long. Someone else showed me what they had purchased. I think I was one row over from you. Anyway I will hopefully be there as a customer only next show and will check out your table if you are there agian.

but they don't buy snakes....they usually but something I refer to as stupid stuff...LOL....sorry......

(crickets,lucky bamboo, crickets and fruit flies,mealworms,toys,exoticly decorated USELESS knives((that have NO real value and should NOT be sold ,,especially at a herp expo??)).......little sallies,frogs,lizards..LOL..

I am partial to snakes....sorry...everyone should own 50....

......sold some stuff......sad....even at half price people still look and walk or even ask for you to drop prices?.....duh....

opals....they are opals?..what is a coral opal????...........

when I say coral I am refering to the combonation of amel and hypo. When hypo is added to snow they are called coral snows and show a lot more color. So I'm trying to find out if hypo will have the same effect on the opals.
Hamburg was only the third show I have sold at and I sold more there then at both of the all maryland reptile shows combined.I got very little time to walk around. I agree that poeple where only intrested in bargian priced snakes, but most of what I had was cheaper stuff so it worked out for me. I'm not a pro so to sell that many is rocking for me. Different prospective.
Whenever I see knives and other non-herp related junk for sale at shows I always wonder why they alough it there. Kind of cheapens the show a bit.

sold more than I thought...yet made half what I should have and not even 1.4 what I wanted....

been doing shows since they started almost...around 13 years?....

they get worse in a way every year....and more expensive to do.....

.......setup all at reasonable prices and most at half price ...and it still doesn't help..I still prefer to wholesale.....though this year I didn't have any takers...well....one guy......pet shop didn't take half enough either........should have taken a little less months ago...LOL....still have OVER 100 babies to get rid of...

OKAY..opals......mine are from lavs,opals,amel aztecs het,and double hets......never mixed in any other color........

can't wait till I thin out anough stuff to fit in the new racks.....(ball racks....)......soon as I get rid of the jungle carpets....I am set.........

all but two of what I had where corns, I sold my last pair of kings at the show. In the near future I only want to work with corns and balls. Next year will hopefully be my first year breeding balls and if all goes well I will start stocking up on more balls. Just het and possible het albinos now, I need to no I can breed them before getting any more.I have no expierience breeding boids so far.
