HATCHLING WONT ABSORB UMBILICAL CORD

FULLY HATCHED LAST NIGHT ABOUT 5 PM AND STILL HAS NOT ABSORBED HIS UMBILICAL CORD IT IS STICKING OUT ABOUT A QUARTER INCH IM TRYING TO KEEP IT MOIST BUT SEEMS TO BE STAYING WHERE IT IS

sometimes it takes time.....

sometimes it is not the cord but the fact that the cord fell off,,,things didn't heal right..and part of the actual gut has come out of the hole left......

.......I'd have to see it......

it would have to be put back in......sometimes they live..at times it cannot be saved......
