Breeing Question Concerning Threesome

boidmorphs Oct 17, 2004 09:04 AM

Last year I put a male anery het snow with a female dh snow and all went well in terms of a successful breeding and litter. This year I have the same male in with her again but I've added another female dh snow into the picture because I'm female heavy. I've witnessed the male alternate court both females but I'm afraid he may be spread to thin between them since he can only spend so much time with one before moving on to the other one. Since I've seen coplulation with both females I'm afraid to take one out so he can concentrate on just one. If the female I remove has already ovulated (I'm pretty sure one has and the other is now) and I remove one of them it would be slug city down the road. Should I just leave them all together and hope for the best? What would you do?

This year I'm doing the same. I think the odds may be greater when breeding trios. If one female ovulates it may cause the other to as well.

Good Luck

Thanks for your response James. I'll leave them as they are and hope for the best. Good luck to you as well.
