Eating question

stoneage Oct 17, 2004 11:48 AM

My ball is a little over a year old. He eates about 1 small dead mouse a week. It takes him a while to strike at it. he has trouble finding the head and tries to eat the end or the side of the mouse. Is he just a slow learner or is something wrong with him?
Thanks for your help

if you ask me the snake is not getting enough food. you might want to consider letting it as many mice as it wants each feeding. my almost year old mouse eater can eat 4 small mice 2xs a week, or a number of big mice. Just a suggestion.

Try leaving the second one in the cage over night. None of mine will eat a second one immediately after their first, but by the next morning it's always gone.
