bought one of those little sony cameras to see if it could do the job ... after about 5 minutes of shooting I decided to return it and just wait for the new nikon's to be released... anyway , the photos weren't to bad, but the sharpness just aint there for the closeups.... Sony DSC-P73

added some size since 2003. I'm excited and hopefully she'll be having some babies again next Sept or so. Do you have any more BCC?

they've got some new features that should help all the blurry photos ..... I probably should just bite the bullet and buy a digital SLR but I think it's overkill for me.. we'll see ..

For the price of the 8800 you can get a digital cannon rebel slr and a good lens and save some money. Then you have the choice of getting more lenses and accesories as you need them.

Some die hard digital rebel fan is going to lose their minds over this one...

But the digital rebel is an expensive piece of plastic that was designed to last only a few years. If you're going to make the SLR dive, there are better cameras available for just a few hundred dollars more (such as the D-70).

Pick up a digital rebel at your local camera shop, and compare it to similar priced d-SLRs, and you'll see what I mean.
