i want to say 4 days have gone by, i bought 1.1 crested's. i keep snakes and have had some leo's and monitors ect... i did my home work and picked out a pair of cresteds. they are in a 15 gal tall tank alot of fooliage all fake plants however, branches, a fairly large container of moss on the floor. the male seems to be doing very well hand feeds pretty well see him sipping mist water and seems to like the handling also at night i see him all about the tank jumping and climbing ect... Now heres the problem the Female i dont ever see her drink, she doesnt want to eat, doesnt want crickets ive tryed 3 types of baby food, all i can get her to eat is the baby food i stick right on her nose and i think shes only eating that because its bothering her being on her nose. when she is out being handled she moves around jump and seems healty but at when ever i put her back in she doesnt move finds one place to hide and stays there until we pick her up agian. like i said the male moves all around and she doesnt move at all. i called the place where i got them he said give it a few more days before i take her back but should i give up on her i cant rick her dying, but i dont know if she is ok and just hasnt adjusted what do u think any ideas? Thanks for readiing this rather lenghty novel lol

Whenever I change my cages they tend to go a few days without eating.
I rarely see my cresteds eat the babyfood or crested gecko diet. They much prefer to slip out when its perfectly quiet.Theres a good chance thats exactly what yours is doing .The amounts of babyfood and CGD diet they eat seems very small compared to the number of crickets they will sock away. The babyfood /CGD is more compact than a live cricket Im assuming. There is the small possibilty that she hasnt found the food. Too safeguard on that put a couple of small dishes around the cage to be found.
