hi im new here and i need to ask you guy somin. i go looking for snake alot and catch alot but does anyone know what snake in georgia are illegal to catch?

All non-venomous snakes are protected in Georgia.

realy? cuz my and my frind chris allways go catch snake and i have read in books that not all snakes are i just didnt know witch ones were

This is quoted off the georgia department of natural resources website, georgiawildlife.dnr.state.ga.us/content/displaycontent.asp?txtDocument=6&txtPage=2

When you read on down it says Ratsnakes (Yellow, Black, Gray). You can not keep any morphs of these as pets even, like a licorice stick black rat or a leucistic black rat. However, a texas rat is fine.
