there's no comparison between the nikon and the sony when it comes to color saturation and focal distance when you are shooting macros. I think the sony can only focus from 3-4 inches away while the nikon can be as close as 3-4cm ... let the photos be the judge!

There's no doubt the nikon digis have better macro than the sony's...I'm still playing with my D70 I got back in May...what a camera.
On another note, I'm going to try breeding the 2001 male FLR (Bats X BoBo) this year to one of Brian's breeders I just grabbed from him...I'll let you know how he does.

and the macro really aren't that great but the quality is good.
