Reptile show letdown 4 chameleon owners

LordOfTheLizards Oct 17, 2004 02:57 PM

today i went to the reptile show in kitchener and it was a dissapointment, not worth the 2 hour drive there and the 2 hour drive back, despite featuring an abundance of dragons, geckos and snakes there was only 1 person there with chameleons, a breeding pair of veiled that were already sold and gone by the time i got there. IMO opinion a waste of the 6 dollar admission 4 me and my dad ...

Yeah, canada shows are NOT similar to american ones. There usually are never any chameleons there. That is why I want to get into breeding them.... Lots of snakes as i reacall. Tables and tables and tables of them.... I really wanted to go to get some feeders, to avoid ordering them offline, but I had to work all day Now i'm just gonna order some from canadianfeeders.com. Oh well.
Sorry I should have warned you not to expect the same as some of the other shows talked about on here. The reptile trade in canada doesnt come close to comparing to the one in the states, it is still developing quite a bit.

You should check on the front page of kingsnake.com, there is a list of "this weeks reptile events" and at the bottom a link to "more". It will give you a big long list and it will say where they are located and when.

Not sure, if you find out let me know. BUT you will need to get CITES papers to bring anything over the boarder from there...
