LOL. I got her from a local here in colorado at the reptile show! It was the only one like it he had so I had to have it! Next year she will be going in the "BLUE" project and hopefully I can produce some KILLER blues!!!! THANKS ERIk
Do you know that blue is an impossiblity in cresteds? Something to do with thier pigments cant physically make blue. I read it all broken down before along time ago and cant remember exactly how it goes but blues arent real.
Eric
I know Allen Repashy has answered this many times and he’s produced 20,000 Cresteds. If there were “blue” Cresteds, he’d know and have them. They simply appear that way in some flash photography.

I regret to inform you that your blue crested looks about as blue as my @$$ (and no I'm not a Baboon). As said before the pigmentation in Rhacodactylus Ciliatus does not allow for blue. Having said that you could come close to a suedo aqua marine if you crossed high end olives with slate gray. But if the crested in the picture is posted corectlly I have at least 3 blues by your standerds. Oh and not to be a jerk but it also looks like he's in shed.
I have seen blue'r(?) "LOOKING" geckos. Also I dont think that you had to bring your A$$ into this (eww bad pictures)! LOL I have never heard anyone reffer to them as slate gray, I kinda like that!! And SHE isnt in shed those are her normal day colors! And I have heard about the whole "BLUE" issue but hey, that looks like blue to me( a dull blue, not a bright blue)! BUT Im glad that you told me about the slate thing! AND thank you for your opinon! THANKS ERIk
