Hi, I'm really interested in getting a pair. I have read as much as I can on this species.(not alot on the net)Anyway, just have a question I couldn't find the answer to. How long do they live? Any other interesting info or really good sites would be appreciated. thanks

Good luck getting a pair. Females are especially hard to come by. They are very different gex, really friendly, quite unsteady on their feet, just rather bizarre, but they are from Oz...

You will want to set them up differently from other Nephrus. I have found them to like a much wetter environment. I use a 50/50 mix of sand and potting soil and keep it moist. When I originally started with them I was told to set up like a Leopard gek, it did not work out real well, much too dry. After moving to a wetter environment things were much better. I have not seen much out there regarding care and have generally had to "wing it", so to speak.

Although they look rather fragile, they are tough little ones, cute as all get out too...

I won't have a problem getting them. I was offered 3 hatchlings for $200.00 each Can.$. Hopefully one would turn out to be female. Thanks for the info.

They tend to like their setting moister than the one for leapord gecko.

I like my millis too~ very outgoing type of gecko (comparing to the other types)

PS: looking for a female for my handsome boy (Canada)

Hi Jip,

I've have a few milii in my collection that are 4-5 years old and doing just fine. Here is a pic of two females i produces this year with the hypo on the left and a nice normal female on the right. Hope this helps!
