Eastern/yellowtail temperatures

Jonasgn Oct 17, 2004 05:20 PM

Hello i would just like to know if the yellowtail Cribo tolerate higher temperatures than the eastern Indigo. I mean that it`s from south america, so in theory it should be able to live in warmer places.
Thanks
Jonas

Yes, they can tolerate somewhat higher average temps, but when it gets above about 88 degrees f or so ambient for prolonged periods they aren't terribly happy with it if they don't have a cooler place to go to.
