Does anyone have a good picture of a Red-Bellied Turtle?
And would one beable to be kept with a Stinpot?

The red belly would soon dwarf your stinkpot and would require much deeper water.

hey how old is your red bellied mine is about 4-5 months. when did it start to get the black carapase? also does yours have a red belly anymore? mine is starting to fade to yellow
Many redbellies kept indoors will loose the red color of the plastron, and a few wild ones have faded plastrons as well.

She's going into her 3rd year. As far as I can remember, her carapase has always been black, with the redish streaks in it.
Her plastron is orangy-yellow. Its never been really that red.
I have a yearling eastern painted turtle in there with them too. Both him and the female RB are way too young to breed, but he trys all the time. Riding piggy-back all around the tank. His lil tail doesn't even reach past the end of her shell. Funny creatures.

Just so you are aware, redbelly females can get up to 14 inches, and I've seen a few in the wild that really are that big. I've seen a good many male redbellies that are 8 inches.
