This is Critters(my Sav) new cage which is a 4x2x3 display case thats been sealed and modified. The substrate is a mixture of top soil, regular dirt, and calci-sand. It's around 1' deep so if he ever wants to dig/burrow, he has plenty to dig in.

Critters only 4-5 months old at 1'1/2" long who is currently shedding for the first time I've had him(about 2 weeks).
