How long have you had the baby? If you have just gotten it, it needs time to settle into his new enviroment. Would be more helpful to post message about how you have him set up.

Are temps right?
Does he have hiding spots?
Is the enclosure in a quiet area of the home?
What did it eat when you purchased it...live, f/t?

Just some suggestions...

buy an anole.

freeze it.

chop off the tail. let it eat that.

then chop off a foot and stuff it in the pinkie's mouth, hard.
i got a troubled feeder to eat that way. slowly i made the anole parts smaller and smaller until one day it took the mouse.

all of this was accomplished on one anole.

if it's one thing that makes baby corns strike, it's anoles.

i want to also know the answers to janomes questions. Also, do you have him on a table thats free from lots of vibrations...and not sitting next to a TV. I wouldnt try force feeding him yet.

Tried to feed it?
Is the 82 a constant ambient temp? Does he have cooler and warmer? Was he eating before and what?

If the corn is only a couple of weeks old, you have either NOT tried everything, or you HAVE... if you HAVE, you've been stressing your snake out with try after try.

Here's what you have to do.

first: give the snake at least three or four days without any interference. Leave the snake in a remote location, make sure it has someplace to hide, and a heat gradient. If it is in too small a container, then you need to get it a larger container. This is one of the most important first steps.

second: AFTER you have given the snake a break, you need to try ONE thing at a time. If you've tried "everything" one after the other after the other, then you need to start fresh at the beginning. Give the snake a live pinkie or a frozen/thawed whichever you would LIKE the snake to eat. Then let the snake be alone for the entire night, do NOT check on its progress. If the snake has eaten, hallelujah. If not, remove the pinkie and give the snake another three or four days break away from human contact. AFTER you've waited those three or four days, try the opposite of what you tried before. If you tried live, try f/t, if f/t, then try live. Leave the snake alone with the meal overnight... NO PEEKING. If that does not work, then give the snake another three or four days and then try braining a frozen thawed pinkie.

Again, make sure you give the snake a break between attempts. You can try lizard scenting, gerbil pinkies, and a lot of other things, force-feed as a last resort ONLY. Some corns never eat. Those who are pestered sure won't!
