Waxworms? >>>>

I have never fed waxies to my leos before...but I wanted to order 50 from wormman.com just to give my leos a treat (since I can't seem to get ahold of some pinkies!!!). But if the waxworms gutload on a mix of honey, bran, and Miner-all...won't they get covered in honey and become sticky??? How can I prevent this??? What does everyone else do??? How many should I feed per week??? Thanks is advance!!!

I don't gutload my waxworms. Usually I just feed off all I order the same day i get them. If I ever do have some left over I put them in a cool room or in the fridge.

Here's what I do: My leos have mealworms available to them everyday and I feed them waxworms once a week as a treat. The adults eat about a dozen each, the juvies about six and the hatchlings get one or two. My females get a double feeding of wax worms twice a week during breeding times.

As far as gutloading, I've never tried it but talk to wormman about it. He's also were I buy my 500 waxworms a week from. I tried breeding the waxworms like I do with my mealworms, but so far I haven't been to succesful...
