Can you post a pic? That would make it easier for us to help you! Good luck with your little dude, and here's a good site to help get you started on the right track on caring for the little guy or girl: www.iguanaden.com
Its going to be really hard for anyone to help you out with such little information, im sure veryone will try though. Whenever posting about an issue, it is important to include as much detail as possible, even information you might not thing is important.
Where are these bumps on your Ig? What size are they? A pic would be good. Where did ou buy your ig? Was it a pet store,or a breeder or what?hat was he housed in prior to you getting him? What size enclosure, what kind of light, what was his diet like? How long after you got your ig did you notice these bumps? What is his enclousre like that you have him in now? Is he d=behaving normally, ect etc etc
Sorry i couldnt be of more help

Here is some thoughts....
I hope that this link will help and that maybe the "brown bumps" you are describing are just his/her tuberclate scales.

Or maybe look at this site if the first link is no help to you.

Good luck with your new little guy and I hope you continue to use this forum as a learning tool about your new pet. Education is the key to keeping reptiles. Trust me, you do not want your IG to end up looking like this:
