Tubs for big pits

ShariB Oct 17, 2004 10:29 PM

The pit bug has bitten me bad. I started with one lone Northern Pine female. I now have 4 Northerns, 4 Black Pines, 5 Ginter Red Bulls, and soon 3 South Tx bulls from John Cherry, and Red Phase Northern Pines are on my wish list.

I am having trouble finding tubs that these big guys will fit in. I currently have several of them in the larger 'underbed' boxes. These are a good size - about 40"x20" My problem with this box is the underneath is not flat. It makes cleaning a royal pain.

Does anyone have any suggestions for finding larger tubs?
My current rack works great for hatchlings up to sub-adults (6qt-32qt tubs). It is the adults I am having trouble with.

Thanks for your help,
Shari

Tis the season. You may be able to find Christmas tree storage boxes at Wal-mart, etc.. they are approx 48"x16"x12"
You can also order some from Eric at www.reptiletubs.com
