My dragons' feet twitch bad

busterzdad Oct 18, 2004 11:24 AM

I have a CWD that is about 3 maybe 4 years old. I have noticed in the past that his feet twitch. Is this a normal thing or is it something I need to see a vet about? Also lately I moved from Texas to Missouri and I notice his feet twitching has gotten worse. What can I do?

Feet twitching is not normal, it is most likely a sign of a serious calcium defciency. Definately see a vet about it. Do you use calcium supplements? Does your dragon have a UVB light?

I agree, limbs twitching is one of the earlier signs of a calcium deficiency. Get your dragons to a vet asap because the longer this goes on the harder it is to treat.

Make sure you are using calcium supplements and UVB full spectrum lighting!
