Im interested in these guys and was wandering if anybody here knows about them. I just would want to know how they are manageably, poop, and how large they can be as adults.

Hi there,

My husband and I kept crocodile skinks for 2 years. They are adorable little creatures, but they are very shy and hardly ever come out from their hides. It is also very difficult to find captive-bred lizards.

We had an adult pair of wild-caught. They were both healthy, ate well and produced viable offspring. However, we lost one egg during incubation (we didn't keep it moist enough). After that, we successfully hatched the egg, but lost the offspring about six weeks later. I had heard that they were difficult to reproduce and have witnessed it myself. I have no idea how the baby died, it was eating and seemed healthy. I just found it lying on its back one morning. Very strange.

Hope that helps a bit!
