HI

If you are talking about the Midnight blizzard geckos then it is very hard to say as they are not being sold at this time. I do have some midnight breeders now and will hopefully be producing some this spring. I believe they will be priced out as how dark they turn out so probably around $100-$600 for how black they stay.

Leopard gecko man found one in a pet store for 70$ its almost full grown too. When does the color start fading?

skmcwilliams Oct 19, 2004 06:05 PM

When midnights first started hatching out you are right they started fading and looked normal as an adult. My female has stayed black and she is an adult. I know another breeder who has a male who has stayed pretty dark and has been selective breeding to darker blizzard females. He has now proven that this selective breeding is showing that the black babies are now staying darker/to black when they are adults. I am sure the pet store did not know what it had that is why it was $70 dollars. But also you have to be careful as I have seen blizzards who were stressed that were very dark and then as they were settled in they turned back white again. So I am hoping that is not what happened to your friend.
