Sorry for the hiatus. She has me concerned. As I've said before, one day she looks like she's healing, the next she looks like she's giving up. We have yet ANOTHER vet appointment tomorrow. She seemed to be in alot of pain today. She was gaping and hissing alot. She still hasnt gotten back into climbing, still hanging out at the bottom of the tank. Plus, to make matters worse, I hear her making a sound occasionally like she is trying to clear her nose. Her nostrils are clear, but this has me thinking upper respiratury infection. That would be weird, though, because I am have been giving her a antibiotic for the last few weeks. Thanks for lookin out, Lele. I'll let you know what the vet says after he takes me to the cleaners, yet again.
Well here's the recap of our visit. The vet and I decided that even though she's been eating, we should give her a tube feed. I was told to put her in a smaller enclosure, which I did, and to soak her in warm water everyday to help enduce defecation. She was so upset, I felt really bad for her. It seems like her back legs are really weak or not functioning properly, or both. When I got her home, she immediately tried to climb up her tree in her new cage, ( a 38 gallon reptarium) but she seemed to get confused as to what was the best way to get up the tree. I left her alone after that, she had a rough day. Well. whatta ya think?
I think you are doing a great job taking care of her. I hope she gets better soon.

Hi Josh, Well, first - I hope the trip to the cleaners wasn't TOO severe!
Yea, you are doing a great job as melissa said. So the reptarium is her new smaller home (keep in mind that crix can chew thru reptarium mesh)? She'll figure it out just give her as much cover as possible so she can hide and feel safe. Be careful not to get her chilled after her bathing. When I was doing that with Luna (now I don't even remember why :0) I cranked up the heat in the room her cage is in and put her directly under her basking light on her perch and then let her decide where she would go from there.
Was this tube feed a one time thing or is he having you do something at home? I don't recall if we discussed this but you could certainly try to feed her repta-aid (made by Fluker's available in most pet stores for only about $10)
I applaud you

Well, thanks to you both for the kind words. But, I'm not out of the woods yet! The tube feeding thing was, hopefully, a one time thing only, but I'll keep that other stuff in mind. Everyone's info and support has been amaxingly helpful. I'll let ya know what tomorrow's prognosis is...
