Not DURING the rain

Obediah2 Oct 18, 2004 09:16 PM

I just spent about three hours hiking in the mud and rain and found no snakes. It was probably around 64 degrees, but colder when the wind blew. I turned over tons of rock assuming that was the way to rainy day herp, but I only found fence lizards. If anyone out there was wondering what the answer was to my previous post - my experince tells me to wait until after the rain.

It was kind of fun hiking in the rain though!

Especially, if you are seeking salamanders at night.
