escaped king

My kingsnake has been gone a week and two days. It's really cold outside so our house is a little chilly, and he hasn't eaten in over 2 weeks now, so do you think he could just be holed up somewhere sleeping, or should I still try looking for him like he's active?

I don't know much about kingsnakes but I would guess that if its a baby then you should look for it night and day before it starves. If its an adult then its probably so heavy it could live off its fat for months and you will hear it belching occasionally and asking for a glass of water. I have a Corn Snake loose and have no idea where it would be. I think mine is dead because it was so slender when i bought it and it got out about a week later.

If it's "really cold" your snake has probably sought out a warm spot to hole up. If it is too cold it will likely die. If not, you might have a surprise when the weather warms again.

When It gets a bit warmer try exploring your house at night with a flashlight (all house lights off first for an hour or so). You might get lucky.
