HELP beardie not eaten since saturday

bumble Oct 19, 2004 05:33 AM

My beadrie -Lujan- has been off his food since saturday. On Saturday morning he ate loads of vege, and plenty of crickets (could he have over-eaten?), but decided not to feed in the evening. I thought that it could be that he wasn't hungry because of the large feed earlier in the day. But on Sunday & Monday he refused to eat as well (I thought he may be going into shed). But no shedding has come, and this morning he still wouldn't eat. He's lost weight, and is very lethargic. Yesterday he was freaked by the cat getting into his viv' so maybe that could be contributing to this problem? Please help

Take him in for a checkup and a fecal. How old is he and what are his temps and substrate? There could be a lot of different things contributing.

" Yesterday he was freaked by the cat getting into his viv' so maybe that could be contributing to this problem? "

well that shure did not help!

do take the bd to a vet for a check up; be sure and tell the vet about the cat.

it may be in part the cat stressed the bd the color change and the behavior may be related.

but it could be other problems....

how old did you say the dragon was?

could it be wanting to bruminate ?

they will slowdown and get "Lazy" and try and find a good hide when they burminate.
