Mice for water dragons

I see where other people feed pinkies & fuzzies but I have been feeding 1-1/2 body size mice to my adults for some time. Anybody see any problem. Both kill and swallow them immediatly.

Hello -

I do not think there is a problem with feeding your dragons full size mice. However I can tell you that I choose large fuzzies simply because I dont want to run the risk of my dragon getting bitten. Are you feeding live full size mice? Or frozen? If frozen......then I wouldn't worry at all as long as your dragons seem to swallow them easily.

Hoppers are okay if they don't have any problems with them, they are more likely to get bit if feeding live.
