Heya,

Her not being receptive means she is probabaly not ready to breed and so you shouldn't rush it. If you got her as an adult, there is a probabability that she is already carrying eggs, wheter she mated or not. Your best bet would be a try again every couple of days or so. Another miniscule posibility, god forbid, that she will never want to breed, and there is not much you can do about it. there are a few pwoplw, myself included that have unbreedable females. Anyway, good luck.

or orange color. That would mean she is receptive. I had what I thought was an unbreedable female but kept trying and poof! eggs!
When you see her turn the right color show her the male and see if she reacts passively. If not remove him and keep trying every week. If you wait too long her time could pass so try every few days. Also when you put them together if she is passive keep them together till she gets gravid coloration and starts rejecting him. It could be as long as two weeks. that is how long mine took.
Also if she is not receptive and is carrying infertile eggs she needs a place to lay them or she could get sick and die.
This happened with my first female so I would give her a laying bin with slightly dampened potting soil and leave it with her for several days to make sure she does not need to lay eggs now.
If she does not get a bin in time she could get eggbound. Good luck with her.
