'Mom' is doing just fine!

This is an amazing female that I own. She came to me by pure fate.....

All of her babies that were born here at my place are doing awesome but the really great news is how quickly 'MOM' has rebounded from the strenuous time spent carring these little kids. I think a big key was my keeping her very well hydrated and letting her get lots of Palm Beach sunshine lol! She seems to have gained just about all of her weight back and after just about 7 weeks is back on large rats. She has fed 4 times in this period, drinks a lot, and goes outside often. I say it was fate that I aquired this female because another large female that I was offered and subsequently turned down, died shortly after my refusing to buy her....talk about a close one! My refusal to purchace the previously mentioned animal left an opening in my collection for one more female and 'MOM' came to me! I feel very lucky and happy she is here! This pic was taken today and I think she looks great!
