I agree that the first one is probably a male. The second one seems to have smaller toe pads and may be a female. How old are they?
I am not sure how old they are. I am guessing they are about 1.25 to 1.50 inches snout to vent. I have had them for about two months and it doesn't seem like they have grown at all. I was afraid of having frogs shipped to me ( what if they died on the way- I would feel terrible) so when these two turned up at my local pet store I snatched them up. Now I am wishing that I had bought directly from a breeder. Oh well- they are healthy so I can't complain too much. They seem to get along ok. I see them sitting together pretty often but I have never heard any calling. These are my first darts so I am new to this. Thanks for your reply!

It looks like you may have a pair, but you really won't know for sure until they "do it."
Don't be afraid of shipping from a reliable dealer. I did have one bummer experience when a shipment went astray due to a dereliction in Ohio, where someone didn't read the labels. The frogs finally arrived, three days late and dead, which distressed both the breeder and myself. But this was an isolated and rare incident among many shipments I've received in perfect health within 24 hours. The breeder took the loss and replaced them for me. Ironically, it was the largest order I'd ever had shipped at once-- over $1000.00. I can only say that this was an isolated incident, and God only knows how many losses are shipped to pet stores that don't always care for them properly when they arrive alive.
