old age

I don't know if anyone on here has had a pacman die of old age but I haven't so thats why I am asking.When a frog dies of old age does it show any signs it is going to die?Not eating etc.

Senescence can become apparent via behaviors and if the frog has been around for quite awhile and begins to refuse food then old age is certainly a factor to consider. But I would not expect to see this in a Ceratophrys unless it was at least 8 years of age as I had one that was ten and did not normally refuse food.
Different frogs can live to different ages so this is not an easy number to set (for example some dendrobatids can live to be almost 20)

I had a pacman for 9 years and she never refused food--but *GO EASY* on elderly frogs. don't overfeed.

She passed away when I seen her soaking in the water and did not move. I miss her. Never had a frog like that one before.
