OK I went and tested were I should have been testing in the first place. Here is the other pic.

Really stunning blue. Where did you get him? I have reds, but if I'd seen yours first, I might have opted for a blue.

I got him off of someone in S.D. Unfortunatley I do not no his background but I couldn't pass up the offer when I saw him. I don't know what your talking about when you said you may have opted for a blue. Your reds are sweet. I owned a female red about two years ago and I miss her. Unfortunatley at the time I was moving and I got a great offer for her because she was showing some purple on her. However I will always have a place in my hear for reds.

Yes, I do love my two. Their personalities are so very different, but they're both sweet. The little female is very placid; doesn't care what you do with her. The larger male is a bit of a curmudgeon. He'll 'huff' at me, but never tail whips or threatens to bite....just expresses his displeasure if I don't let him do what he wants.

Awesome looking blue. How big is he and what's his temperament like?

He is about 3 1/2ft long and has a pretty good temperment once you get him out of his enclosure. His feeding response is pretty overwhelming at times but once you sneak a hand under his body he is very tame.
