feeding problems veiled cham PLEASE HELP

hey
my chameleon has stopped eating crickets and flies and will only eat mealworms and i heard that they arent that great for the chameleons so is there any way to get my 4 month old veild to start eating crickets again. the crickets are both in a cup and loose in the cage.

You can try changing the color of the crix by sprinkling spirulina or ground up green peas on them. Chams LOVE green food. Also, a bit of tough love works too. Leave a FEW (too many will just make him sit and stare) flies and/or crix available and don't give mealworms. He can go for a week without eating much of anything, and sometimes chams are just stubborn. As long as he's drinking and acting normally he should be fine.
