Feeding small Splendida?

kriminaal Oct 20, 2004 05:07 PM

I picked up a splendida hatchling at a show Sunday. He seems kind of small to be fed a pinkie. Its definitely larger than its widest girth.Should I cut the pinkie down or what?I've had Boas before but nothing this small.

It should be able to take a small newborn pinkie with no problems. I have a hatchling splendida and I feed it pinkies that are hours old. But then again I breed my own mice and have easy access to them. If you have a local pet store that you get your feeders from, give them a call and tell them to call you as soon as any of their mice have newborns.
