Not as a staple. A spoonfull or 2 wouldn't hurt them though.

So what you're saying is this: If I have a small package of apple sauce open, and I'm not gonna eat it all, when I open it I can take out 2 spoonfulls and give it to Hades?

It all depends upon how big Hades is, and whether (s)he is accustomed to eating fruit. Too much fruit can give some dragons diarhea. My big girl (23.5 in.) loves fruit in any form. Mango, strawberry, watermelon, and apple are her favorites. I've given her a decent sized teaspoon of the sauce in her greens without problem. She also throws a fit when she sees me feeding the tropical geckos peach baby food. I usually end up putting some in the cap as a treat for her, and she slurps it right up! As a suggestion, you might start out with a dab and see how your dragon does on it, and then increase the amount over time.

althea
