Sinaloan in water dish

miki00 Oct 20, 2004 08:26 PM

After my snake escaped, i was able to find him slithering downstairs tuesday. Well, since that i've been keeeping it on a Sterilte shoe box, with a hideout and a water dish. Im using paper towels as substrate. Today i fed him a little mouse, he ate it all nicely. After that he went to his hideout, but then i saw him in his water dish. Im positively sure that it doesn't have mites. It's been in his dish all afternoon. Is this normal? i really haven't seen this behavior in it since i bought it.

if your sure he doesn't have mites he could be 'hiding'. i have couple hides in with my tangerine dream honduran. also some snakes just like to soak.
another thought is has he gone into shedding or temps to high.
just some ideas for you
