I warm them under heat lamps after thawing at room temps.
Although at times I have thawed mice under them.
I use too many large rats to try and totally thaw them out.
My only problem...I feed so many on "feeding night", that I've got to remember what heat lamp I put the rodents under.
I made the mistake once or twice of leaving them under there for a day.
Did you even walk around asking yourself..."what died in here?"
Now I'm extra careful.
It works...heck, I even use the microwave...but mine has lots of settings.
I've yet to blow up a mouse, or rat.
But give me time.
