Another thing I forgot to mention is bleach is good cleaner, just rinse it well (you probably knew that). Ammonia works good too for killing some of the stuff bleach doesn't, also rinse well. If you use both, rinse well between them and let them dry before using the other.
Do NOT mix bleach and ammonia though, see my signature for details
