Purchasing and owning exotics is a deep repsondiblity, there is more to their care than just housing and feedng them. You must also ensure that you have plans afer your dismise and of course permits for you animals if required....
What is this country coming too!I guarentee all of our fore fathers that fought for an came up with the constitution, for this country are rolling over in their graves!Did Sadamm move in over here, lol!Sounds like in the end we'll have to ask to be allowed to go to the bathroom!I am sorry but think about it none of the animals were being mistreated an just because he didnt own an acre of land it was against the law! That is crazy! They are not paying this guys bills or paying for the upkeep of these animals! No one was being harmed!Come on people!Even the uneducated neighbors was'nt paying his bill's!What is this country coming to when a law abiding tax paying citizen has no right in his/her own home! This is definatley becoming very sad,an I strongly believe that we need someone to stand up for our rights or their will be none!Just my opinion! Thanks Eric[Hypoboa]
I have to agree, it’s getting bad. Next you’ll have to ask what color couch you can have and what kind of material your carpet can be made of to go in your home.
Regards,
The law is the law...If its against the law to own those types of snakes in the particular situation he is in.. he should have been more discrete about keeping them.
i dont remember exactly what the article said.. but did he get caught becuase of a call the owner made with questions about exotics?? If so.. then he should have been more carefull. I mean theres more to it than is being stated in the article... but....
It really sucks that his animals were confiscated nonetheless

The animals were well cared for and the person keeping them obviously knew what he was doing, yet some how some one got inside the house and was able to take them away and place them in what is most likely less capable hands.
Here me now, if someone (law Enforcement) comes to your home to investigate your animals, you do not have to let them in with out a warrant, of course if they have a warrant the are coming in regardless, but with out one, only you or another resident of the home can allow them in.
13 animals does not seem too many to me (of course I have 5 times that many LOL) so I can not understand how they found out about them?
