I'm thinking I've read before that it takes about 30 days for eggs to form? Am I right? If not, how long?

This season all of my girls layed thier eggs from 60-95 days after the were humped.

I've witnessed copulations in October that haven't resulted in eggs until June. It's not a dead-on science, this whole mating thing. 30 days after a P.O.S. you should have eggs.

Like I said before, OUR girls dropped about 2-3 months after mating.

And I DO see it as a science,drop temps, girls develope follicles, introduce male with plugs, eggs 60-90 days later in most cases.

I have looked around but have not found out how long to bruminate before breeding.So,how long should they get the cool nights before introducing them to one another?

I would imagine a few weeks. I introduce them after I feel folicles.

Ahhh,ok.
Now i am wondering if i am waiting to long with her.She quit eating 6 weeks ago,with the exception of one small rat 2 weeks ago.
Should i go ahead and turn off her at night?

takes usually a few weeks for them to "get in the mood".........week or weeks plus to "start making follicles..".....then 60 days to lay and 60 days to hatch.....can take from 3 months to 3 years average....

mine are breeding as started now......they ovulate in February and March......then lay in April and May on average....

they breed all year........

lots of corns......selling a bunch of adults though...tired of them..balls take up their space then.......maybe 20 colors and all.............got like 70 adult corns here?......

......time to make a couple hundred balls a year .....

......wonder where I will sell the males.....hmmmmm..

I did have a thought today..I wonder if people will buy the skins of a ball faster than a live one?....skin.....tan them..place them on felt in a frame?.......
