WOOT.......rats came......

lilroach56 Oct 21, 2004 02:59 PM

Well today the rats from rodentpro.com arrived. They were packed EXELENTLY and had like 4 layers of insulation for minimal dry-ice (frozen carbon-dioxide) usage. All the rats are high quality and are not dirty. The box was clearly labeled with a warning about dry-ice. All in all two thumbs up.

I just recieved my order from them yesterday.40 rats and 50 mice. It's nice to not have all that pee and poop frozen in with them like you get from the dude at the reptile show.I will definately do buisness with them again. It saves me a 2 hour ride to the show to just by bulk rodents.

Rats can be especially vicious. Several years ago I was actually be attacked by a huge escaped rat that was out for a week or so and went wild (snake struck and the rat jumped over it and out of the tub before I could get it closed). If you got close he would lunge at you biting. If you've never experienced it, you probably won't ever believe how savage a rat can be. I did manage to capture that one alive, but I won't go through that again. If a rat excapes I now have a quick way to make it take a dirt-nap so I can recover it.
