well I was at the Hamburg PA show a couple of weeks ago and decided to buy a venus fly trap for the heck of it.
I never knew they actually worked. hahaha, I got these pics while watching this dumb little fly be lured to its death. Hahaha.

Just kidding; pretty cool stuff. I had one a few years ago, but it was pretty small and I never saw a full size fly get into it. Real cool. Does your camera have a video mode? If so, you should get a clip of the plant 'eating'. Thanks; I don't like flies, either.

yeah, haha,
my camera has video mode, but the venus fly trap snaps, I dont think the video mode would have been able to pick up the process of when it closed. Too quick.
