the 1 concern I have is his tail, looks pretty thin. also, unless it's his sleeping time then why is he just lying down? thanx

GREAT PIC. I think the cham looks wonderful. I don't think you can see the tail enough to determine whether its to thin or not since gthe cham seems to be trying to hide from the camera.

Well, i have heard of chameleons laying down while basking on a certain branch, it was in a thread many months ago. Also, wow does that cham have some unique color.

When I took the picture the lights just came on and he was basking. I have only had him since Oct.9th I got him from the Chicago show from Arboreal Exotics. He is still shy and goes and hides when I open his cage. He eats like 15 crickets and some meal worms a day that are dusted with Rep-Cal.

Several years ago I bought a little girl veiled, and at five months she was still EXTREMELY SMALL compared to that photograph. Then again ,I don't believe she was the healthiest as she was always small, didn't shed often, and didn't havea steady growth rate. She died from complications of dehydration, etc etc I was crushed...

When, I moveout, a cham will be one of my first scaled children!
