Nope, that behaviour is familiar with each gender and all ages. Do you know how to sex a Leopard Gecko? If not just say so and either me or someone else will gladly assist you. Take care.

About 2 months old max each, ones a little younger. I know how to sex them but they are only around 3.5 to 4 inches at the moment. The only time they wag thier tails like a rattlesnake is aimed at food.

mine usually "wag their tails" when they are either: hunting, about to eat something, angry.

Slow wagging and directed at food no.
However its its rapid rattlesnake like then yes, also if its directed at the other leo. How old are they? I would make sure you can sex them and just in case have a spare tank/tub.

good luck

this is a deffensive position i believe mine only does it when my friend comes over, lol and i tell him that he stinks and he pissed her off and hes like "nuh uh seriously dude?" but i'd really let ur gecko be for a few days it's stress and they get really moody when they do that so i'd back off for a few
