HI, if you dont know i had jsut recentally boughten a midnight blizzard and i want to introduce him to my female. When i help him up to he tank she ran and tried to get out of her tank. What does this mean? Does it mean i cant let them be in the same cage? Or shall i just put him in her cage after he is quarantined and i clean all of her stuff for territorial reasons? Because i dont want her to run and get under something where i can get her.

How old are they?? First I strongly advise not to keep males and female together. The male usually causes alot of stress to the female because they are constantly trying to breed. Also if you aren't ready for eggs. Keep them seperated. If you want to breed them wait until they are both atleast 10 motnhs old to a year. It's best to use weight as the factor for females. Once she is about 50g I would say it would be safe. Introduce the female to the male in his cage for about an hour if you would like to breed them.

and did we all remember to quarantine?

this is crucial, this will allow you to tell if he is healthy.
Then to put them together, have him inside a small critercage inside ur female's tank. This allows the female to see him, and the male to see her. In addition he will be in the female's territoy. U then can observe them and see what their habits are. If the female is stressed and hiding all the time, i suggest not to put them together.
Another way is to put to tanks side by side length ways against eachother.

Yeah, I think they read your post... At first you go on to tell us what your male did when you put him in the tank with your female (meaning that you'd put him in the tank prior to quarantine)...

Then you go onto asking us if we think you should try him with the female again AFTER you quarantine (meaning (to me) that you as of yet haven't quarantined him).

They told you to quarantine the little guy before you put him in with the female (it wouldn't be fun to expose her to anything that he may be carrying).

If it were my gecko, I'd quarantine him for at least 3 months, then try from there... It sounds to me, like he isn't even interested at this time.

I gotcha man, I'd just wait for a bit and try to reintroduce them at a later time...

Kind of sounds like they weren't ready to be together quite yet. Give it a bit of time though.
