Hey, I was wondering what people do with their beloved dragons while going on vacation. Do you recommend taking a dragon to a reptile specialty store to hold onto for a while (I am nervous about trusting them).

Another option for me is to take my beardie with me. Do you know whether it is possible to take bearded dragons on the airplane? Or would i have to stow him away down in the cargo area? (which I am not willing to do)

Best thing to do is leave the bearded dragon at home and have somebody you trust to come in once a day to feed and clean up after your dragon. Make sure they can be trusted to do so. Print out or write out exactly what the dragon needs to be fed (how much greens, crickets etc) and when to dust. ALso leave a contact number for them to call you if they need to for whatever reason. Find somebody who isn't squeamish about feeding insects to a bearded dragon.

Each time i go on vacation i get one of my other reptile friends to come over, i always have typed up instructions and the veggies for my beardie are always seperated out into her meals for the week. I leave money for crickets and tell them how many to buy, where to but them etc...etc.... I also always bring my cell phone with me so if there is a problem i can be easily contacted.
