Does anyone else get this in your ads?.........more

I know we all get the "send me a check if you are really dumb" replies to the ads but does anyone else get the replies where a namless emailer states that they want to buy most of your stock? I seem to get this every other ad, where some guy (or gal I really don't know) sends an email saying "I would like all the snakes listed" the spelling in the email is normally off and the request just strikes you as untrue, no questions, no requests just "I want them all"? Is some putz out there thinking that I will pull my entire stock off the market based on a blind email? I don't see the purpose of this reply unless they think I would do that and therefore their animals would sell better?
Let me know if any of you guys get this too.
Thanks

Yeah it comes in many forms. Seemingly ever time I post I get a reply stating I'm so and so from Canada or Taiwan or Turkigistan etc etc and with horrible spelling and sentence structure their email says somthing to the tune of "Hi I like buy {1.4 redtail} make sure healthy I send cashier check. Just BS.

I personally never reply but many out there play with these guys back just as they take us to be suckers, and that I hope we're not. Interesting but a waste of time.

Best,
Justin

...I get all kinds of replies to my ads. Twice this year I have had people exchange emails asking all the expected questions and then saying that a check is in the mail and no check or further emails arrived. Do these people think I am really going to ship them a snake without actually seeing and cashing the check? I also get lots of the scams that want me to take a large foreign check and give them cash for the difference when their agent comes to get the snakes. I take time and carefully write my ads so that most of the information is covered and I still get loads of emails asking questions that are answered in the ad. Keeping and breeding snakes is fun. Selling them can be interesting?

These are the Nigerian scammers, plain and simple. They want to pay with a cashier's check, and always have "an assistant" who will pick them up in person.

There's a great website out there where people deliberately "play" with these jerks and get them to take ridiculous photos of themselves holding signs that say things like "I'm a _________ (insert profane word of your choice)" See the website below for some great laughs...
